Mimmo’s Ristorante Pizzeria

We were looking for somewhere in Laurel with outdoor seating due to having our dogs with us while traveling. Mimo's was the perfect fit. They welcomed us and even brought extra water for our dogs. The food was flavorful and exactly what we were looking for. Braylynn, our server, was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

My wife and I were on a quick Fourth of July weekend getaway and chose Mimmo’s and it was great. We got there about 5:30 before the rush and had great food and service. We passed by later around 7 and it was packed! We ate the Pizza Biancaneve. It was very good!

Great food and great service! I had the Chicken Florentine for a main meal. The chicken was juicy, the sauce was creamy and the pasta was perfectly cooked. What a delicious main dish. For desert I had the Lemon Cake. It was great. Soft, moist and well flavored. Our server was prompt and courteous. One couldn't ask for better service. This is a must visit restaurant if your looking for a great place to eat.

If you go to Laurel, MS, you have to eat at Mimmo's! This was some of the best Italian food I've ever had. My friend and I ate lunch there on Fri and liked it so much, we went back for dinner on Sat. night! Between the two of us, we tried the meat lasagna, penne with meat sauce, chicken marsala, cheese ravioli, the garlic rolls and the best bruschetta I have ever had.....ever! We got it both times! It was delicious....you have to try it! All of the food was delicious. Service (Ethan and Ciciy) was amazing! Who knew, I had to go to Laurel, MS for the best Italian food! You will not be disappointed!

Came here today around 4:15 pm. (Saturday) and we were seated right away. The service was phenomenal and the food was even better! Garlic knots, bread and oil, pepperoni pizza, Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. I don’t know why this place is only 4.3 stars. It’s delicious food. Our server was kind and knowledgeable about the menu, brought us more refills and boxes. Bonus is we didn’t have to wait long for the check. Go here you won’t be disappointed.

While visiting the town of Laurel we happened upon this restaurant. Did no prior research of the area or had any recommendations to try this place. Just liked the look of the building and the atmosphere and walked in on a whim. With that said. The food was AMAZING! My wife and I travel around a lot and we would say this place even beat the Italian places in New York. My wife got the Cajun spaghetti and I got the carbonara and the sauce for both dishes were spot on. Seasoned perfectly and not too salty or oily. Luck was on our side today when we chose this place. Aside from the food the staff was nice and the building was cool. We live about 2 hours away so the chances of us coming back to Laurel are slim but this place will be what I compare other Italian places to beat!

We visited Mimmo's Ristorante Pizzeria for lunch while touring Laurel. We enjoyed our meals very much! My wife ordered a Caesar Salad with chicken, and I had Penne Alla Caprese with shrimp added. My wife let me have a little of her salad (she ordered the big one). The romaine lettuce was fresh and crisp, the shavings of Parmesan cheese were robust and plentiful, and the dressing had an appropriate sharpness to it. As for my Penne Alla Caprese, the pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was flavorful but not overpowering. It was perfect for lunch. Our service was also quite good, and the unsweetened iced tea that came with my meal was crisp and refreshing. ____________________ Back for dinner and once again, a fantastic experience! Brittany gave us excellent, friendly service, making our evening even more enjoyable. We started with the indulgent Italian Garlic Rolls, knots of bread brushed with garlic butter and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese—they were absolutely delicious! For our main courses, my wife had the Penne Bolognese and I chose the Chicken Marsala. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful and generously portioned. We left feeling happy with everything—the service, the meal, and the atmosphere.

Nice Italian restaurant in downtown Laurel! The food was good, not great and it was definitely pricey for the area. We did really like the ambience inside with a fountain in the middle of the restaurant. The booths definitely need to be replaced but we made it work. Service was good and we didn't have to wait for a table. They have a private party room along with a large dining room. We were not disappointed!
